Terms of Service

1. Who we are

no7ch (no7ch.com and the iOS · Android apps, the "Service") is a career-logging service operated by beside Co. (the "Company"). You log your work weekly and turn it into outputs such as resume bullets, case studies, and interview answers. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

The apps are for capturing and viewing logs only — all payments happen on the web.

2. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will announce it in the Service at least 7 days before the change takes effect — or 30 days for material changes or changes unfavorable to you. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the effective date; continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.

3. Accounts

Accounts are created with an email magic link or social sign-in (Google · Apple). You must be at least 14 years old.

You are responsible for your account. Accounts may not be shared or transferred, and you should notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. The Service

The Service provides logging, organizing, output generation, public profiles, and export. Logging, viewing, and exporting (Markdown · JSON) are always free — your records are never held hostage to a paywall.

Storage is 1GB total on free accounts and 20GB on paid accounts. Exceeding the limit only blocks new uploads; viewing and exporting existing content is unaffected.

We may change or discontinue parts of the Service with prior notice. If the Service shuts down, we will provide at least 30 days to export your data.

5. Paid subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are monthly or annual plans purchased on the web only, covering premium features such as full output generation, career mirror reports, public profiles, and sync. Prices and scope are as shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by Polar (Merchant of Record). Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled, and you can cancel anytime before renewal.

6. Cancellation and refunds

• Withdrawal: within 7 days of payment, if you have not used any paid feature, you receive a full refund
• Annual plans: fully refundable within 14 days of payment; no pro-rated refunds after that
• Monthly plans: not refundable for the current month; after cancellation you keep access until the end of the billing period
• You can cancel anytime, and cancelling never cuts short the period you already paid for

After cancellation, your records, viewing, exports, and previously generated outputs all remain available — only new generation is restricted. Public profiles go private (not deleted) after a 30-day grace period, and your handle stays reserved for you for 6 months. Resubscribing during the grace period restores everything immediately.

7. Your content

You own the content you create and upload — logs, images, and generated outputs. You grant the Company only a non-exclusive, limited license to store, back up, transform, and display it as needed to operate the Service, including publishing what you explicitly set to public. This license ends when the content or your account is deleted.

You are responsible for ensuring your uploads do not infringe third-party rights (copyright, likeness, trade secrets, NDAs). If a third party reports infringement, we set the content to private immediately and notify you; the dispute itself is between you and the reporting party.

Handles that infringe trademarks or impersonate others may be reclaimed by the Company.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use another person's account or impersonate others
• Post content that infringes third-party rights such as copyright, likeness, or trade secrets
• Post content that violates applicable law
• Interfere with the Service's operation, including abusive automation or reverse engineering
• Send spam, distribute malware, or otherwise harm other users

Violations may lead to content removal or account restriction, with prior notice where possible and prompt notice afterward in urgent cases.

9. Availability and disclaimers

The Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, technical failures, or events beyond our control; we give advance notice where possible.

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damages arising from free portions of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor for damages caused by your own breach of these terms.

We recommend exporting important records regularly — export is always free.

10. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account anytime in Settings > Account deletion, in the app or on the web. Deletion becomes permanent after a 30-day grace period; signing in during that period cancels it. Public profiles go offline immediately upon request.

The Company may terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, after a request to remedy the breach.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
